Story

Jérôme Gigot and Yann Gicquel, creators of Les Touristes, have been greatly influenced by their voyages to the four corners of the earth.
Les Touristes was initially established in the Marais area of Paris in 2003, with the opening of a boutique offering a selection of objects curated from near and far. Since 2006 Les Touristes have created a unique textile line with a penchant for colour, cheerful prints, and vintage and offbeat patterns — collections based around a global concept that blends fashion with decoration to brighten everyday life both at home and on the road.
Les Touristes regularly hang their hats in India where their fabrics are hand-printed, working in close collaboration with a family workshop based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, who use traditional screen printing methods.
Jérôme Gigot et Yann Gicquel, créateurs des Touristes, ont été grandement influencés par leurs voyages aux quatre coins du monde. Les Touristes ont été initialement établis dans le quartier du Marais à Paris en 2003, avec l’ouverture d’une boutique proposant une sélection d’objets sélectionnés de près et de loin. Depuis 2006, Les Touristes créent une ligne textile unique avec un penchant pour la couleur, les imprimés joyeux et les motifs vintage et décalés – des collections basées sur un concept global qui allie mode et décoration pour égayer la vie quotidienne à la maison et sur la route.
Nous sommes soucieux de créer des collections qui durent. Vous retrouverez à chaque collection des nouveautés mais aussi des articles qui perdurent plusieurs saisons en espérant cadrer avec une éthique « slow fashion »
